Due to lack of water the selection races for wildwater canoeing team moved from Kolpa to Sava.

Slovenian kayakers and canoeists were supposed to compete this weekend at Kolpa River, but the organizers had to cancel all competitions (in slalom and whitewater canoeing) due to lack of water. The new location of selection races for whitewater canoeing national team will be on Sava River.

The weather conditions this spring are not as kayakers and canoeists hope them to be. After they had to put the finish line before the last fall of the course at Tacen slalom season opening due to lack of water, now the organizers of slalom and whitewater canoeing races at Kolpa River had to cancel scheduled competitions. The slalom race is cancelled, while downriver canoeing races will be moved to Sava River near Hrastnik, where the water conditions allow the organization of the race. The classical race will be organized on Sunday, April 1st, (start at 10.30) and sprint race will be organized on Wednesday, April 4th. The start of the first run will be at 16.30 and the second run will follow at 17.30.
